Happy Birthday Belles!

Bells Birthday Party!

We had the cutest little Princess/Butterfly Birthday party! Belle invited her friends to the party and Wissa and her friends were there to be of service and help decorate. I don't know who enjoyed the party more. Belles, her friends, the service girls or me. I loved it! And I really think everyone else loved it also. The girls all dressed up like princesses and the boys at the party were Knights in shining armor. We had Little sandwiches, a veggie tray, popcorn and of corse we had cake and punch in fancy glasses. It was soo... much fun. I told MR. Practical Daddy that you only get a to have a Pretty Little Princess Party a couple of times. They grow up so fast!

Lake Powell 2009

This was all of us at Lake Powell. I'm glad Tyler was able to take this picture after the camera got wet. It's great! Tyler is really good at what he does. Hope to post more from Powell soon.

My Trip to Wilhoit

These are my kids and my niece and nephews kids.
Me and the newest kid on the block. She is a cutie!
This my Niece and her little boy VAN. He looks just like her. I love their blue eyes.

Trip to Wilhoit

This is my nephew. He sprained his ankle the day before playing Basketball.
This is Artie. He's a cute kid but Niwiss went up to him and said, "why do you have your shirt off"?
My parents were so much fun and very much engaged in what was going on. They are in their seventies and doing great!

Houston

Houston wanted to take a mad picture. I think my mean look caught him off guard. Houston returned home from Spain and was speaking at church so I went to visit. There we had a lot of fun just hangin' out and being C.....lls. My sister "Ling Ding' flew into town also and by the time her and everyone else trickled in it was a full house. I realized after leaving though that no matter the time spent away from my family they are my family and they love me still for being me. I am a lucky girl!

Moms 73rd Birthday

My Momma just turned 73 this past week! Happy Birthday mom and many more!

Cub Day Camp

"ROCK ON CUB SCOUTS, ROCK ON"

Cub Day Camp

I recently spent 4 days as a den leader for 10 boys at Cub Day Camp. I didn't think I would like Cub Scout or anything to do with Scouting (Tommy would kill me if he heard that). Anyway, not any more. I love Cub scouts. It is so fun working with these boys! And Day Camp was a blast!

Elder Dahl

Elder Dahl had to leave us! Soo... sad! We really liked him. He was a good guy! We wish him the best of luck!

Wii Fit

D ordered the Wii Fit for me and I think I've gotten to use it, maybe twice.

Niwiss had a birthday too!

He is 5 years old and wanted a Pirate Birthday party. Didn't these cupcakes turn out cute?

Cute Kids!

Just more cute pix of my cute kids!

Future Missionary

Recently we came home from church and the Stunt who had jumped on his new bike side "hey mom, look. Future Missionary"!

The Stunts Birthday

The Stunt turned 10 years old! We took his friends to see a movie and the had a video game party here at the house. I love you, Stunt Boy!

Don't have any really great pictures to post but for the sake of Journaling here they are.
First we have Easter. Easter was fun (after our Wal-Mart experience). We were in Grants the night before and got to participate in the Wal-Mart Easter Egg hunt. Wow! Yeah! We just happened to be there as it began and of coarse the kids wanted to do it so I said "Hey what the heck" lets go for it. So Niwiss and Bells were ready to go with there "wal-mart bags". They were in the 4-6 year old group. There were thousands of eggs laid out before us. We thought we had a good chance to get a few eggs. I get choked up when I think about what happened when the horn blew. Imagine the eggs as grass and the kids as lawn mowers. Niwiss and Bells held hands and took off and one by one the eggs disappeared just as they bent down to pick them up. They went from one end of the field to the other end with the same result every time. They did not pick up one egg. It was both the sweetest thing to watch and the most heart wrenching things to watch. They were so sweet holding each others hand not pushing and shoving even though all the other kids were. They came back with an empty bag, crying. After watching this the older kids had a game plan and decided that if they were going to get anything they would have to get mean. On their turn they were tripped and shoved but managed to get about 6 or 7 eggs each so they shared a few with the younger kids. I heard it was crazy but never believed it. Now, I do. Never again! Never will I go to a Wal-Mart Easter Egg Hunt!
On Sunday we had our own egg hunt. It was much more civil and a lot more fun!

Tybee Beach

I Love taking pictures at the beach! They always come out good!

Tybee Beach is one of the last things we did on our trip to Savannah, GA.

Here are the things we did and saw on our trip.

Wednesday - We left Farmington to stay in a hotel near the airport in Albuquerque.

Thursday - Flew to Houston, Tx. then on to Jacksonvill, Fl. There we were picked up by Grandpa Fuzz in a 15 passenger boy Scot van that he rented from Tom. Drove to Savannah, Ga.

Friday - I took Alissa to urgent care and then to the Emergency room. There we found out she had Pneumonia. David and the others went down town to River street for Salt Water taffy and Pecan Cluster samples at The Savannah Candy Kitchen. D and The Stunt went to Hunter Air Force Base to Camp out with the Boy Scouts on an Island.

Saturday - D and Tom went Golfing. That night the adults went to River Streat for Dinner. It was crazy to see a cargo ship carrying probably 100 box cars on it go down the river. Not a small river. For dinner I tried grouper. I think I'll stick to Salmon. We also had boiled peanuts and Salt water taffy. Their were many performers singing. Good Fun!

Sunday - we all stayed home from church to get better. That night we had mexican food and played games with some of Tom and Septembers friends.

Monday - We took our family along with D's parents and went to S.C. The Stunts ear was hurting, but he was a trooper. Here we visited John's Island, Charleston, Rainbow row, the Battery and also had dinner with D's friend Devonne. We visited an urgent care for Hunter. He had a double ear infection. We got him started on anti-biotics

Tuesday- We left the house at early to drive to Orlando. We arrived at Disney World at about 9:30. It was crazy busy.
Stayed at the Mariott Hotel.

Wednesday- Animal Kingdom where Nicklaus and Cayman were unseperable. Nicklaus LOVES hangin' out with Cayman!

Thursday-Epcot. Here we saw lots of Disney Characters, rode a fun fast car ride, had soda from around the world and flew to outer space. Ended the day with Ice Cream and drove back to Savannah.

Friday- Went to Tybee Beach. Then the adults went to another Scouting event. Tom put on a dinner where we took part in our first Oyster bar. Blah! Ok, I tried it because people were going nuts and I thought it was fun to open Oysters. When I opened them I felt obligated to eat them. I didn't open too many, I will say with a cracker and cocktail sauce they are tollerable.

Saturday - David and Hunter, Tom and Cayman played in a Golf tournament. I'm such a GIVER! That night we went to a really pretty southern home and had more Yummy! Boiled Peanuts along with a Low Country Boil. It was so yummy and fun! They boil food and then dump it on a table covered in news paper. You pick up the food with your hands and eat without utencils.

Sunday - we went to church and had more boiled peanuts after dinner. That night we stayed up late and talked to Tom and September. Great Conversation!

Monday - We went to Fort Pulaski. This is a cool Fort built by the Union in about 1820. It cost over $1 mill. and was built with millions of brick. It had a moat built around it. It saw little war but the cool thing was that the fight that did take place was between the North and South. The South at Fort Pulaski and The North were able to take out one of the walls from Tybee Beach where we had just visited. Here we saw jelly fish in the moat. D said all we need to see now it an alligator. Sure enough someone pointed one out just outside the building. We were able to stand just feet away from a small but real wild alligator.

That night September and Tazman took us to the airport where we flew home. One the first plane back home we had turbulence that had us all screaming. It was so..... scary. Even D was a little shaken. The next plane ride went a little better. We drove home that night and got home to Farmington around 2:30 am. on Tuesday.

Tuesday - Sent the kids to school and went back to sleep!
