My Parents slept on the kids mattresses in the living room. It stinks being in a 2 bedroom rental house and they wouldn't take our room. Anyway our kids loved it they ended up making it a slumber party. All four kids slept beside my parents. Ha Ha! I'm sure that made for great restful sleep. So, I guess my dad was justified in burying the kids under the mattress and all the linens.
