David had to work in Grants yesterday so we tagged a long. The Cashes were nice enough to let us stay in their "Hotel suite". While it was very comfortable we wished that we could stay in our "White House" as Nicklaus would say. We are happy to be in Farmington but it doesn't feel like home yet. Maybe it's the carpet?
Last week I had a moment. I had to leave the house. It was one of those moments many others can relate to. I had enough. I drove around letting off steam and called to get some help from my sister-in-law Eve. She always puts things into perspective and she's a great listener. I went home and made up with my husband and worked out for fifty minutes on the eliptical (that works great). I had hung in for 28 days, beautifully then erupted. The next day was a complete turn around. My life was great. I don't know what I would do without great friends like Eve.
Now let me tell you about her night. After listening to my sob story at her sons BBall game. She went home to one kid sick at 11:00, the next at 11:30. One more sick at 12:00. Another up at 2:00 and then finding herself up at 3:00 sick until 6:00. She then got her "non-sick" kids off to school by 8:00 and calls me at 10:00 to say shes sorry for not calling ME earlier to see how I'M doing. Wow!
So, yesterday while my husband worked. I went to the park with my kids making memories. I got to see them laugh and play! I even laughed and played with them. What was I thinking last week when I thought "WHY ME!". I am so lucky!
I have SWEET friends, a SWEET husband, SWEET Kids, a SWEET life.
